I’m from Buffalo, New York, where I was fortunate to have parents that engaged me in almost every type of physical activity throughout my childhood. I still find it difficult to focus on just one: weightlifting, Crossfit, distance running, swimming, yoga… I'm always trying to balance my goals and training. What has continually brought me to my center, calibrated me, and cleansed the slate of physical and mental injury, however, has been yoga.
The difficulties of life can often weigh on us, bringing us away from our true selves and the potential we have to feel free and alive in our own bodies. After experiencing a number of such difficulties in my own life, I chose to pursue a path where I could attempt to help others through the practice of law. I moved to Dayton in 2014 to advance that practice, but found myself more often excited to guide and train others in feeling physically stronger and connected. I received my 200 RYT at Move Your Hyde Power Yoga in 2014, my Crossfit Level 1 Trainer Certificate in 2016, and am currently completing my NESTA personal training certification. My professional practice has thus become layered, attempting develop my own multi-faceted career path and be of service as needed.
When I’m not trying to move and breathe, you’ll probably find me driving to a concert!
